Navigating Trust and Privacy: Contradictions and Insights In The Age of Social Media
As the use of social media platforms has become an integral part of daily life, the increased usage raises significant concerns regarding privacy, security, trust, and awareness. This quantitative study explores whether there were statistically significant differences between participant’s concerns about privacy, security, trust, and awareness and their age, gender, social media usage, and their status (faculty, staff, undergraduate or graduate student) at the institution. Based on the results, there were significant differences found and they are discussed in this research paper.
