An Examination of Instructional Delivery Method and College and Career Skill Development On College Graduates’ Degree Utilization
This study examines college and career readiness (CCR) among online and face-to-face business school students to determine what factors influence how graduates utilize their degree for its intended purpose. Demographic and academic statistics are used to compare online and face-to-face graduates to determine what factors influence business school graduates’ expectation and utilization of their degree within its intended scope following graduation. The results identify differences between online and face-to-face students in CCR skill development across multiple variables. The results indicate that GPA is a factor that reflects CCR development, and that degree utilization is affected by experiential learning and self-determination.
