Industry 4.0 is the theme of this year's conference. Industry 4.0 transforming the way firms manufacture, improve and distribute their products by integrating new technologies into production facilities and throughout operations. These technologies include the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, analytics, and AI/machine learning among others.

Submission Deadline

  • Submission Deadline of complete papers or abstracts: February 10, 2023  March 4, 2023
  • Reviews and responses to authors: March 18, 2023
  • Submission of the final version of accepted papers or abstracts: April 8, 2023

Important: Please note that all submissions (full papers, extended abstracts, & abstracts) must be submitted by the deadline above in order to undergo the double blind, peer review process and be considered for publication in the Issues in Information Systems (IIS) or selected journal(s).

What to Submit

You are invited to share your research on the conference theme or other relevant IS and IT research with the educators and professionals attending the IACIS International Conference. Papers covering related academic and technical issues are also encouraged.

  • Full papers
  • Abstracts
  • Panel presentation proposals

Submit only unpublished, original works. Proposals for workshops and panel presentations should provide a general overview of the session's objectives and activities.

Publication Opportunity

All submissions are double-blind refereed. All high-marked full papers accepted in the review process will be fast-tracked for publication in Volume 24 of Issues in Information Systems, a publication of IACIS. Issues in Information Systems journal is a refereed, serial publication that is registered with the U.S. Library of Congress and indexed in

  • Scopus (Issues in Information Systems has been accepted for inclusion in Scopus as of 15-Nov-2022)
  • Cabell's Directory of Publishing Opportunities in Management and Marketing
  • EBSCO Host
  • DOAJ
All other accepted submissions will be published in the Conference Proceedings.

In addition, the conference chair will select several high-marked research papers to go through an additional round of double-blind reviews for possible publications in the Journal of Computer Information Systems published by Taylor & Francis.

Papers that are accepted to be published in the IIS will not be published elsewhere.
Selected papers that are accepted to be published in JCIS will not be published elsewhere.

Registration Fee

Registration for in-person conference -- $395 (USD) if paid by 11:59 p.m. April 16, USA Central Time. Late Registration - $445 (USD) if paid after 11:59 p.m. April 16, USA Central Time.

Registration fee includes membership in IACIS and a year's subscription to the Journal of Computer Information Systems (a refereed journal published six times a year by Taylor & Francis). This membership will begin in January 2024.
